The forthcoming Alternative Ownership Conference Asia-Pacific to be hosted at the Grand Hyatt in Singapore on 13 th an 14 th March, 2019 will provide an opportunity for APRDO President Bill Minnock to update delegates on the progress that has been made by the newly-formed Regional Trade Body in terms of potential collaboration and interaction with other country-specific Trade Associations, raising the industry profile through an orchestrated PR initiative, efforts to promote industry best - practice and several other specific areas of focus during the coming year. Program covers diverse topics including a Special Bonus Session on the afternoon of the 13 th March where a panel of industry experts will examine the various steps to be considered when entering the shared ownership industry and what needs to be addressed within a start-up. The Program also examines the regional travel industry outlook, the overall state of the industry, trends within mixed use developments and features several key note speakers including Mark Wang, CEO of Hilton Grand Vacations. A big part of this year’s Conference Agenda looks at innovation, both in terms of resort architecture, new product development within the shared ownership industry and most importantly, the impact of new technology, where featured speaker, Carrie Law, CEO of Juwai.com, the leading real estate portal for the domestic China market, will examine how technology has changed the landscape for real estate marketing and sales. Additional Sessions examine how the regional market behemoths, China and India stack up against one another, as well as some thoughts from an Industry Leaders’ panel.
